Hello all, I dont know if im posting in the right place so forgive me if ive annoyed you. I was wondering if anyone may remember my grandad Francis Joseph Kelly(known as Frank),northern irish royal signals?it would have been the fifities and my dad was born in 1956 at b.m.h hostert. My grandad and grandma Hilda are sadly desceased and i was too young at the time to appreciate what my grandad shared about his time with b.a.o.r.I would appreciate if anyone has any memories of hostert, what it was like being an army wife or even being an army baby from the fifities. If you do remember grandad.....redhead about 4ft and a fart(as he used to say)and rather chatty.(genetics are cruel....i fell like his mini me!)
If anyone could help then let me know i really adored him,
many thanks
Katy

A History of the Waldniel-Hostert buildings is here:
In British use it was BMH Hostert and later Kent School (boarding school for children of British and attached Allied troops and civil servants - many close by in employment at JHQ Rheindahlen).
