Loved having a look round this site. I was stationed at RAF Gutersloh between 1972 and 1975 on 19 (F) Squadron (Lightnings F2A's), does anyone have photos of he ground crews for that period of time. If so I would love to see them as unfortunately I have none. I think I was too busy in the Pigs Bar.

I was there 78-79. Thought it was the best place on earth. Swimming pool, library and better than Army food. I even asked for a permanent detachment from 79 Railway Squadron. I acted as a shunter, For the civilian locomotive driver, bringing in the fuel for the harriers. Almost killed twice stopping traffic. Still the best place at that time of my life.
