Hello Don Walton here i am retired Cdn Forces 1957-1985.I created a RCASC Family Tree Site in 2010.This site is in aditionto the Main RCASC Site that can be found on the web.The reason for this entry is that i am trying to follow the path of 55 Cdn Tpt Coy RCASC that were part of the 27 Cdn Infantry Brigade Group. In searching the specific Barrack that they were in was called Stonehenge Barracks. So far i have not been able to locate this particuler Barrack which of course was part of the BAOR at the time. I do know that some of the Units were in the following Barracks.London Barracks being one where the HQ of 27 CIB was located and some of the Cdn Highland units were in Chatham Barracks. I have recently found out that there was a North Chatham Barracks am i to sasume that there was a South Chatham Baracks.I have pictures of the main 55 Tpt Coy RCASC,HQ Platoon,Wksp Platoon and A Platoon all signifying that they were in Stonehenge Barracks. Was the name Stonehenge another name for Langenhagen. Can you please try to clear this matter up for me. I can be contacted at the following e-mail address (firstname.lastname@example.org) My RCASC Family Tree Site is ( http://military.tribalpages.com) Anyone that does contact me i will forward you the password to my site.
Thank You Don Walton Wasaaga Beach Ontario Canada

I was stationed at Langenhagen Bks, Hanover (yes, BFPO33) circa 1973-1975 in 205 PCCU RE supporting HQ 1 BR Corps. In those days our strength was some 100+. It was a good posting with geographical responsibilities ranging from Kiel to Sennelager with Bielefield "in between" and also through the road corridor (or by train) to Berlin....interesting!
