Hello Together. I have discovered this forum, and would like to try to come with it in further information about my father. Unfortunately, I have only very little information about him.

His name is Michael . Then there are other last names. Sean and Gwithain.Unfortunately, I do not know exactly like this is written.

Otherwise I know that he has a sister called Sarah.

Else I can only say that I am born on the 07th of July, 1981 - Lippstadt. I have a sister called Jasmine Romika Brown.

I can remember that I was taken as a very small boy often by him with in the barracks (Churchill Barracks) to make purchases in the NAFI.

So I cannot ask my mother, unfortunately, for further information, because she is psychically ill, and would not like to speak of it.

...to me just occurs which he should be occupied at the today's time as a driver of the upper ranks. However, this information is approx. 3 years old.

I suspect you were born in a British Military Hospital! Can you tell us your fathers name from your Birth Certificate?

Do you know which regiment your father was with?

To be able to mention the exact names to you, I must procure first of all the birth certificate. This can last some days. Maybe it is impossible.

But what I could still say is that my mothers name is Annette Brown, born Lobemeier. Unfortunately, I also do not know in which regiment he was divided.

es scheint der Fall zu sein, dass in letzter Zeit allerlei Leute ihre Väter suchen. Ich hoffe, dass es dir gelingt.

Ist es u.U. möglich, dass irgendwelche Papiere (Briefe, Dokumente, sonstige schriftliche Unterlagen) noch vorhanden sind, oder aufgetrieben werden können, die Hinweise über die Einheit deines Vaters und/oder über die von ihm ausgeübte Tätigkeit bei der britischen Armee enhalten? Vielleicht versteckt und vergessen in einer Schublade oder auf dem Boden irgendwo.

Umso vollständiger die von die gelieferten Angaben, desto aussichtsreicher das Gelingen deiner Suche. Ich wünsche dir viel Glück.

Leider existieren keinerlei Papiere dieser Art. Bei uns war es nicht so, das wir ein ganzes Haus zur Verfügung hatten auf dessem Dachboden sich etwas unterbringen ließ. Alle vorhandenen Papiere waren in einem einzelnen Schrank untergebracht - welchen ich als Kind oft nach Hinweisen durchsuchte. Hierunter waren nur Papiere meiner Mutter.

Heute ist es so - das der Inhalt dieses Schrankes so nicht mehr existiert - da alle relevanten Unterlagen von einer Betreuerin meiner Mutter aussortiert wurden. Es gibt wirklich nur die Heiratsurkunde und ein einziges Foto. Meinst du das Foto würde evtl. hier weiterhelfen ? Die wohl einzigste Möglichkeit noch kleinere Informationen zu erhalten wären dann wohl meine Großeltern. Ich werde sie mal dazu befragen.

tja, das ist natürlich Pech mit den Unterlagen. Aber du hattest erwähnt, dass du in Lippstadt geboren bist. Nun war und ist Lippstadt eine Garnisonstadt. Bist du nun in einem britischen Militärkrankenhaus geboren oder im Kreiskrankenhaus. Welche auch immer ich bin mir sicher, dass evtl. noch Dokumente welcher Art auch immer von einer solchen Quelle beizutreiben sind. Könnte man doch einen Versuch starten, oder? Wenn deine Geburt im militärischen Krankenhaus erfolgte, dann stehen die Chancen gut, dass alle Angaben zu deinem Vater ausfindig gemacht werden können, da wäre die Zentrale in GB dafür zuständig.

This is a bit of a strange message and I'm not even sure you're going to get it but I felt it was worth a try. My name is Amelia and my dad is Michael Brown who is your father. I've always known I've had a brother born in Germany but I've always been too young to pursue it any further. I'm 18 now and I felt it was time I looked into it; although my dad doesn't actually know this!

I googled your name and I found your post and saw my dad in a picture with you and your mother, which then led to this post.

I found your birth certificate with your name on it and te mither is named as Annette Maria. He was born in Redruth, Cornwall on October 11th 1961 and I know he was in the army in Germany, I'm not sure where though! His step mum is called Sylvia. Hope this helps!

What should I write? Maybe something about me:

I live for about 8 years in Dortmund and lead a happy relationship with my girlfriend Vera. A few years ago I was trained as a pastry chef and have subsequently completed additional training to technicians confectionery.

My older sister Jasmine lives in another city called Cologne and works as a sterilization assistant.

The memories of Michael are very blurry. I think I can only remember the day when he is gone. Oh yes, I should have a nap and have played with Lego. There was a spot of trouble;).

There is someone named Andi in Lippstadt, a friend of Michael. He said some time ago that Michael is still in the army. As a driver or something similar? Is that right?
