Looking at the photo of the girls "saluting" Hitler. My Mum would have been about their age at the beginning of the war. Makes you think doesn't it?

Yeh there were no nazis after the war. Wonder where they all went? Liars were all sieg heiling with the best of them.

If you watch the old films of those days, some of the women were close to orgasm by the look of it when he made an appearance. Thankfully the British have an in built aversion to turning our politicians into gods or dictators even if one or two try.

Yes indeed, although there was a bloke used to drink in the Schnelle in Oerlinghaused who claimed to have been a member of the Allgemeine SS.

good photos len,now hears a poser,at one of the many rally grounds [down the south of germany i presume] stood a very lage statue of an angel.do you or anybody have any immages of it ?.

I took a photo of that 'Victory Column' in Berlin in early 1957 -- it was all pockmarked with bullet holes ans shrapnel damage -- so i didn't GO UP !
