It's official, my leave pass is signed and I'm off for 10 days. Smile

This weekend is the RAOC reunion and then Monday we fly out to Gran Canaria. Smile

Try to behave whilst I'm away, and if you can't then don't get caught. Very Happy

Have a great time at Kineton and of course in the hotter place - I am saving my pennies for Kineton next year as this year has been a financial minefield (and now the flat roof has begun leaking)......

Well as this is an RAOC Thread LoL, All packed up and ready to roll in the morning to Knieton, Looking forward to both nights. I have blind pugh (aka Slick) to contend with in the mess, I hope he likes dog food.

A great weekend was had by all. A Social Evening in the Sergeants Mess with a buffet to feed the 10,000 on Friday Night, and a Regimental Dinner complete with RAOC Silver on the Saturday Night. Cheep beer, and great company on both nights.

All that was missing was the use of the Transit Accomidation this year, as the blocks are being converted to single rooms for the serving lads, and our boys had to doss down at the Days Inn on the M40. 8 Man transit rooms will be avilable again next year, so bring your gas mask Jim...

Hope you enjoyed your holiday after the Kineton Bash Jim, I paraded at Eden Camp on Saturday the 16th for the Palestine Veterans Association Reunion and 6 RAOC Palestine Veterions all over 80 attended, thats including the Padre who took on orders in later life! I laid the RAOC Wreath, a job you did so well for me last year when I was away.
