Hello,
greetings from Germany. I found your site via google. You have a few informations about the Muna Barracks that i must correct. I live in Wulfen were the Muna Barr
acks are.I am Felwebel (Seargent) of Reserve of the German Army. In WW II the Muna Barracks were never lead by the SS. The Chief there was member of the Wehrmacht. On the Area were never burried any Persons. Outside of the Muna Barracks were different Camps for captured amunition workers from Poland Russia and so on.On 29th of December 1944 there was an Explosion that killed 26 persons (13 Germans and 13 Russians were killed)they never found a sure reason for that accident because all who were involved were dead but they supposed it happened because a box of so called rifle-grenades fell down. All bodies were burried on cemetaries outside the Muna Barracks but i think this was the basic of the mythos. If you have questions about the Muna Barracks or the history of it please mail me. Today the Muna Barracks are still lead by the German Army you can find their own homepage in the net just try " muna Wulfen" at google.
sincerly your
h.-g. harding
