OOps . By my reckoning in 2012 it will be 70 years. Transatlantic spelling is forgiven. Wonder how much of the Corps will be left after the current round of cut backs.

We fixed them, but, didn`t put all the bolts back in so it would break again and we`d have to fix it again.

Not many, probably, as they will more than likely contract the work out to civvies as the Army won`t be big enough to need support arms.

'oops .. you're right BobG .. 70 it is, when I revamped it recently to 2012 I forgot to add the ten years since I last edited it ... I wrote it way back in the early seventies when I was 'Poet Laureate' to the British Ex Servicemen's Association here in Vancouver, Canada ... hence tire, not tyre ... when will you 'limey's' get it right.
