| Hi, any tips on trying to find information on my uncle, who was in the Fusiliers in I'd guess mid-late 50's. Born in 1936 so that's where I'm guessing my dates from. His name was David (Davy) Jennings from Co. Cork. It is thought him and his close friend Garrett Lordan served together, but not totally sure. He literally vanished, it seems, without trace. Rumours were he went out for a night and never made it home, but in a large family the stories are rife, Just basically for his surviving siblings and the rest of us left, it would be good to find the truth. He may still be out there supping away. If anybody has any advice they can give I would be grateful. | |
