| My dad, Walter James Austin, was at Gottingen with the Royal Irish Fusiliers in 1951/52. He was transferred there from the Royal Ulster Rifles at Ballykinler.
Whilst with the Fusiliers he was the 'batman' to a Captain Truesdale.
Do any of these names mean anything? Are there any stories or photos you may have?
Many thanks | |
