thank you for your request. In fact, you can find under the archival signature S 3/22 the “war diary of 515 Mil. Gov. Det. Paderborn”, which was written by Major Bell. The diary is a photocopy from the Public Record Office (WO 171/ 8001/ 6476).

Hi Alan, recorded as follows: 91 Interrogation Camp to 25 Jul 45 then 4 Civilian Internment Camp at Recklinghausen 92 Interrogation Camp to 25 Jul 45 then 5 Civilian Internment Camp at Truppenubüngplatz Unsure if this was a merger or a renaming, have also found: 031 Civilian Interrogation Camp at Stöckse east of Neinburg as late as Dec 45

Bad Nenndorf, near Hanover was a British Place of Interrogation. It doesn't appear to be a Numbered Camp! Reading about the place make one go cold!!!
I believe the British Government did not know of it's existence!!!

Found this, Combined Services Detailed Interrogation Centre (WEA) 29 Aug 45 in the Kurpark Galenberg Bad Nenndorf, GHQ Troops including an ATS Company, still recorded 5 Dec 45
Also HQ 2 Army Interrogation Pool 12 Jun 45 with 20 x Interrogation Teams scattered around the British Zone

Subject: CIC No 7 Eselsheide near Hövelhof/Stukenbrock Senne 17/12/2020, 19:09
CIC No 7 from Sep 46 at Eselsheide (Stukenbrock-Senne) [had been at Hemer as "Camp Roosevelt" up to Sep 46] ( formerly Stalag 326 VIK - Russian PoW Camp had been on the site)
The Stukenbrock-Senne site was handed over to Land NRW and the Police Training School took up residence and Specialist Dog Section were set up there.
Both Michail Gorbachev and his wife Raisa visited the former Stalag 326 - Ranges closed down during the visit.
Wef 2020 Land NRW made funds available to promote a Site to Commemorate the former Stalag 326. Until 2025 up to 25 Million € are to be made available for the project. The State (Bund) have also promised to invest 25 Million € to create a Memorial of National Importance to documented the former Soviet PoW Camp. (Autobahn A33 exit 24 appx 1 km N signposted)
