Here we go again !

Cameron's government happily chops great lumps out our Armed Forces and promptly commits us to removing another Arab loony.

Nice to see the Maple Leaf is in there too.

But not the Germans, why do our politicians think we are still a world power? Is it a diversionary tactic to take the pressure off the problems they are facing with our own economy?

It's significant that we didn't take any action against that other tyrant, Mugabe. Then again, there isn't any oil in Zimbabwe.

quite agree!! lots of people have been saying that for along time but at the end of the day its all about money and politics

It's interesting that Germany and Turkey are against this. Kind of shows the control that all the Turk immigrants in Germany have over the German government.

I heard on the Wireless today that each Cruise missile costs £800:000, that's before any other costs are taken into consideration - I thought we were skint, that was one of the reasons they made me redundant!

All politics aside mate.

Our grovelling politicians keep on bleating about "The Special Relationship" but for my money, regardless of the cost, Canada has allways stuck with us Brits.

We as a country, owe the Yanks a lot, there's no denying that, but they're not Family are they ?

And hopefully we'll stay stuck in with you folks, but still they're muslims killing each other off. Let the other Arab countries solve it. Saudi Arabia is good at invading Barhan so why can't they do the same in Libya. We don't need to be the world police man. The French would be better off solving their mossie problem at home as should we. Oil is up to $102 a barrel. So I think our govt. should be charging $102 per bushel of wheat to the mossies. I'm not for sticking our head in the sand and ignoring the world. We've proved we can stand up for our selves when we have decent leaders, but with the useless shower we have in Canada there's not much hope of that. Most of them are like steers, " no horns, no balls. Can't fight can't f***. Just stand around eating, sh**ing and bellowing".
