I closed Ripon down and handed back to Federal Authorities.
I have uploaded 2 pics. The 1st was taken shortly before handback and shows the view taken from between the Sgts Mess and JRC towards the front gate.
The 2nd shows the official handback Party.

Myself (Accommodation Services Unit) and WO2 (RQMS) Colin Bell handed back to the BVA (German Federal Assets Agency) with representatives of Defence Lands and a Military Guard from 4 Sqn 16 Sig Regt.
We had spent much of the year moving HQ ARRC and it's Support Bn out (to Rheindahlen) and then clearing all accommodation stores and equipment (with a VERY small band of helpers!)
