British Military Hospitals, War time designations 1985-1989

Hi

I have been investigating the combat support arms for the British army in the latter years of the cold war 1985 to 1989. But have come unstuck with the RAMC. Most books from the time period are very vague.

Piercing it together from some sources, The last part I need to do is the 'wartime' designations of the UK and BAOR military hospitals. In a conventional war all British Military Hospitals (BMH) would become either Field or General Hospitals and deploy into the field. The list I have the moment is follows:

22 Field Hospital (Only full time Field Hospital)

BAOR Hospitals

BMH Rinteln = 29 Field Hospital
BMH Iserlohn = 31 Field Hospital
BMH Hanover 32 Field Hospital
BMH Munster = ? Field Hospital

UK Hospitals
Cambridge Military Hospital (Aldershot) = 33 Field Hospital
Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital (Woolwich) = ? General Hospital
Duchess of Kent Military Hospital (Catterick) = ? General Hospital

So does anyone have these last 3 numbered designations for the hospitals?

Hi, I tend to deal with matters medical when I can. I am not sure of the answer to this one because I tend to look only at Field Ambulances. However, I feel sure I can get the answer fairly quickly for you. I will get back to you as soon as I can,

I was born in BMH Hamburg in 1948 intrepid, not sure if that would have been a field ambulance ever.
