| 60 Years, hey. The only person who is not happy must be Charles. It was all nice to see etc, but to have it crammed down our throats for a full 4 days was a bit hard to take. The thing i hate about it all, though, is the way advertisers have used it in their adverts for crap we already know about and either don`t need or want. | |

| If I am not mistaken he lives in LA, that's where he should stay, bit like James Blunt (rhymes with....) he lives in Ibiza. They only come to the UK when they are trying to flog some rubbish song. Where's Josef Locke when you need him? (You are talking about Robbie Williams, Len? ) | |

| Anyone seen some of the military uniforms worn by the Royals. Prince Andrew - now a Rear-Admiral and his younger sibling Earl of Wessex, wearing what I believe is the uniform of either a Captain or Commodore. Couldn't see the rings on the sleeve but his hat had one row of scrambled egg on it. Good old Charlie is now I see a full Admiral. Even Princess Anne is a Rear Admiral. Be god, what is the world coming too. Also, seen the number of them all sporting the Diamond Jubilee Medal. I served the Queen from 1952 (King George VI 1949-52) to 1972, but no DJM. Makes me angry. Charlie is even wearing the Queen's Coronation Medal - he must have been all of 4 1/2 years old in 1953. !!!! Jimsigs1 | |

| Actually they are turning the Jubilee Medal into a 'Bling' item .. every body and their dog here in Canada is getting them .. newscasters, poets, writers, one young gal had a double lung transplant (poor kid), but she was awarded one, etc,etc .. To make it worth while they should have had two versions, civil and military, might be worth having then.
