| In the second part of this Pathe clip, there are some shots of the RHF during a visit from HRH Princess Margaret. http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=53945The date is 1963 so I suspect that it is probably Aldershot Barracks rather than Mons Barracks. Hi Paul First thought was as yours but recorded for Aldershot Barracks Feb 60 to Apr 63 1 Bn Royal Ulster Rifles then 1 Bn Royal Welch Fusiliers until May 64 1 Bn Royal Highland Fusiliers arrived Mons Barracks Feb 63 and transferred from 5 Inf Bde to 4 Gds Bde Jun 64 Cheers Steve http://britisharmyiniserlohn.blogspot.com | |
