I have a set of black and white photos from 632 Mobile Civilian Transport Group based at Kerr Camp in Bad Oeynhausen. Major TEB Mills worked there and the photos show him at work with German and British staff and some of the vehicles and visitors. If anyone would like the photos I can post them. The small parcel will be about 1kg in weight.

Hi Mills Daughter,
Nice of you to offer the photos onto persons interested in the collection. A few years ago, a German gentleman posted a note seeking photos of that era and location. I think at the time, immediately post WW2, this person was just a young boy, who was looking for photos which could possibly have shown him. He moved there as refugees from the East. He enjoyed looking around around the local military workshops and Armoured Cars, as boys do. His mother sought a living doing soldiers clothing repairs and cleaning.
So what do you do if I ask for the photos? I will pay for postage. You can PM me for contact details. How many photos approx are there?
As I read your mail first! Does this mean I receive the photos? What about those who are also interested in the photos and read this note later on?
One suggestion is; Someone receives the photos from you, copies them, AND places them on a photo web site where others can view them! Or, that person scans them, then is willing to send them on via email to anyone requesting to view them.
I am willing to scan the photos and post a link to them via this site. That way, anyone can view them via visiting this BFG/BAOR web site. What do you think?
Thanks Alan

There's quite a few photos so it would be great if you have time to scan them and put a link to where you store them. Some are annotated on the back. Is there a way on this site for you to privately send your address or would you prefer for me to send them to your local post office for collection?

I have recently received the photos TEB Mill's family promised.
I have made a selection to post here which covers his early Army career in Osnabruek. (Unit not identified!). Would have been RASC in 1958. Could it have been a 'Tipper Squadron' or 'Movements' unit?
The first photos shown are of Queen's Bithday Parade in 1958. I believe Scarborough Barracks, Osnabrueck is where the photos were taken. The remaining photos are from 632 MCTG, Kerr Barracks, Bad Oeynhausen.
Teb took a keen interest in sailing and was was very active teaching and passing on his skills to others with lots of theory training, then sailing on the Dummersee and at Kiel Training Centre. Seems one protegee became the bosun for the yacht St Christopher and was chosen for Chay Blth's crew for GB II to sail around the world.
It would seem that TEB and his local German employees at the MCTG went to great effort to ensure thousands of local Orphans were treated regularly to entertainment at the local barracks.
To view the photos click on the link below: PM me to discuss the viewing. Thanks..
If you are having problems with the page, just Click on the down arrow 'Sort' option in the top right hand corner top of the page. Select ‘Name’. The page will now update with photos and descriptions in correct order.
I would like to say a thank you to Teb's family for supplying the many photos which should remind some of us of locations, units and equipment back in the 1950-60.
[b]After Note After searching the net. I have now established that TEB was OC. 122nd (Tipper) Company. BAOR. This unit was at Scarborough Barracks 1958.

Thanks for your kind offer to share! I have received the images through alan as you can read in this thread. Interesting time documents from a not well documented chapter in the history of BAOR...

German civilian canteens were operated because the Civil Employees had no entitlement to "Duty Free"! and had to but their necessaries from a "cooperative" set up in the camp (some distance from civilisation) and operated by the guys themselves.
