| I have received a message from Philip that contains a little gold mine in the way of photographs - 19 in all. Reading the original message, I get the impression that the gentleman who sent the photos to Philip served with 606 MCTG. The photographs contain images from 1958, 1961, and 1969. All the photographs will eventually go onto the main site, most likely on a page of their own (I think they deserve it). They are posted as thumbnails, click on them to enlarge. Meanwhile, I am posting some here so that you can have a look at them and make comments if required. Hilden - St Davids Barracks? Swimming Pool at Hilden? Bradbury Barracks Krefeld? Bradbury Barracks Krefeld? Waiting for VIP's Autumn 1969 (who were they?) Rhine Centre? 1969 (where or what was Rhine Centre) Rhine Centre? Comments/identification most welcome. Paul | |

| Paul, the Rhine Centre was in Dusseldorf not too far from the city centre and close to the river. It was home to the main NAAFI families shop, SSVC, Post Office and I believe RMP? It was not a large establishment and there may well have been others organisations based there. Bob | |

Bob Many thanks Bob (and for your other answer as well) The sender of the photographs thought it might have been called by a Barracks name as well, but obviously not. At least I can tell him that it did exist, if I can make contact with him. Paul. | |

| Hi, I believe it was called the Rhine Centre. It was only a small complex, backing onto the Rhine River.I'm trying to dig out some more information from storage. The RMP were stationed in Caernavon Bks,but did have a Police Post there. Hope it helps. | |

| All fascinating subjects, but have you forgotten that it is time now that you put your mind to those presents for Christmas and not leave it to the last minutes. You, or most likely your Dad’s or his Dad will want something thoughtful and interesting as a gift. I have worked hard and burnt much midnight oil to make this possible for you. Why not look at the following internet site and happy reading to all.
