First post on here so definitely reaching up to touch the bottom rung!
My father was RMP Krefeld 1955-58 but I don't know the name of the barracks. Anyone help me with that please? We had married quarters in the Cabbage Patch. I don't suppose anyone remembers that cul-de-sac do they or even had quarters there at the same time?
Many thanks, Coinneach

Hi
Not a lot to see at Krefeld the main RMP place was probably Duesseldorf (centred on the airfield) and any at Krefeld were localised patrols or individuals(families moved out to MQs:
103 Provost Company RMP . . Germany: Dusseldorf
https://www.baor-locations.org/krefeld.aspx.html https://www.baor-locations.org/bradburybks.aspx.html anglo german club, twinned with Leicester
The Barracks were: Krefeld (year in brackets when handed back) Bradbury Barracks (GB, 2002) Haynes Barracks (GB, 1989) Linn Barracks (GB, 1991) Trasnmitter Station / Sendeanlage Horstdyk (GB, 1993) SA Firing Range / Schießstand Hülser Bruch (GB, 1997)
from time to time there is mention of Milne Barracks quite possible the name given to the RN Stone Frigate - HMS Royal Albert in industrial premises beside the Rhein,
