Don't think we have had this photo on the site?

I think this is 101 Provost Company probably during its time at Bad Oynhausen. RLC Museum should have the Key Card which will give its chassis number and strike-off details but not much more.

Fletcher, I suppose it is a CARD. Don't think there will be much more! However, someone may own it already and have the Card?
Other Collectors without a Card, now have a go at checking if their VW is listed?

Steve,
Thanks, I'll leave it here as an amazing collection of vehicles collected. Why? Its such a BIG collection!.
Maybe the Americans banned them on the road for a reason?
I note the rather centre steering wheel on the uncovered car. Even the Speedo Head appears on the left of the steering wheel as well. Weird?

Alan, have a recent German magazine with six pages devoted to "Ein Hirst-Käfer von 1946" a split rear screen still around today, had a part ownership of a 1949 split screen back in the late 60s in 1 Div Verden-Aller, so the above brilliant photo must be 1950s, best not publish the article here due to copyright, drop me a line privately if you want a scan. Cheers.

I know the owner of that exact car, in a German collection. The tag under the bonnet identifies its service details.
