| The Berlin Air Lift is covered in another Section but is mostly about the Americans. The RAF and civilian aircraft took part out of Hamburg.
There was much controversy about the difference in pay. RAF on normal service pay whilst the civilians (most of them recently demobilsed from the RAF) on a much larger pay packet | |
