| I served in Ubique barracks 1959 to 1961. 11 Coy RASC Charlie Platoon. I remember a Block of flats exploding, in a village behind the camp, I think that would be Nov '59 I was on stag in the vehicle lines aad saw the explosion. The duty officer sent me with a rescue party. The whole block had been raised to the ground. | |

|  Just saw this on your blog Paul When I served in 11 Coy Our C.O. was Lt Col Parry He used to fly it on his Champ it was known as the Parry (cheese) Pennant. We were 11 Coy 108 Coy and 107 Coy. Sadly He was killed when his Champ turned over. I remember attending his funeral Jerry | |
