| Can the person who mentioned a Turkish guy on an MSO thread or similar forum reply please?
The Turkish guy who landed in Cyprus as a Para during the 1974 invasion. Can you tell me if the guy was called Shemi? He was not your average looking Turkish bloke! He was stocky and quite European looking.
If it was Shemi! He was my civi motor mechanic at 15Fld Wksp, Munster. I believe he went to Warendorf Depot on the closure of the Reme Workshop. His mate was Pete Bristow, was also at the Workshop. Pete would have remained a Fitter, not security
