RC Church

Can any body help with the name of the RC church in Toffrek Barrack. A friend who had his daughter baptised there need the name as he has lost the baptism certificate.
I'm obliged.

You dont say when your friends child was baptised in Hildesheim but for a number of years now all RC Records (baptisms, marriages, funerals which took place in military RC Churches have been centralised in Aldershot as part of the RC Bishop to the Forces organisation

An approach to
RC Records
Cathedral of St Michael and St George
Headquarters 4th Division
Aldershot

might produce a positive result (regret dont know the telephone number)

Longstanding members of this forum might remember the church on the cross roads by the former Para Depot and was the Corps Church of the RASC

Sorry i missed the date, it was May 1970 & 32 Heavy Regt RA were in residence
