Windsor Girls & Windsor Boys School Hamm

I've not been on for some time. I lived in Osnabruck in the 60s. Was just wondering if there is anybody on here who attended Windsor Boys/Girls. I lived in Dodesheide (Kastanienstrasse) with Mum and Dad and went to Windsor Girls from 65-68.

I was at Windsor Boys (Marlbourough House) 69-71, my father was stationed at Wulfenbuttel at the time.

We may have talked about this before, but I lived in Kleine Moscau and went to PRS at about the same time you lived in dodesheide. Tommy Brackley my mate went to Hamm. Tall skinny bloke with a huge mop of black hair.

I went to Windsor Girls school in Hamm from 1969 to 1971.I was in Sandringham House which was right by the main gate and opposite the school block.My father was stationed at Glamorgan Barracks in Duisberg at the time.If you look at the first picture that comes up on the main page of the three nco's receiving their long service medals,the proud soldier in the middle was my father and I believe the soldier on his right was George Bickford who lived next door to us in Tiroler Strasse.I never really settled at Windsor Girls(I missed my mum and dad!)so I transferred to a lovely boarding school in Dortmund where I was able to go home at the weekends.My fathers next posting was Maindy Barracks in Cardiff where I have stayed ever since.Hope you see this post.Kind regards,Ann Farr.
