| I received this from a fellow on the RCA e-mail site. I think it should be shared. Well said by this GeneralHello Veterans, Family and Friends. Check this u tube (link below) video. This is a Dutch General who really explains why we have Armies in Canada, US and Western Europe today. And why we can not ever stop the struggle for Freedom and peace. Listen and watch! He spoke well! And honoured the Allies that liberated his country in WW 2 (Canada being one of those Allied Counties). Some of you may know this via experience. However it is well done and those that do not know. It brings more light to a subject and understanding. Message from Dutch GeneralI | |

| Brilliant!! really enjoyed watching that and tells a lot of home truths, not all soldiers are warmongers, but then we knew that already, it's the others that don't. As for equipment, well it makes sense, as it's always been said, give us the tools and we will do the job Les | |

| Excellent, one of the best and most concise presentations to justify armed forces I have heard.

| Hardrations, Thanks for alerting us to that inspiring video. The Dutch General had a very well crafted message. Too bad our Defense Chief Natynczyk does have better PR. Cheers Bob

| I'm pleased that this msg. has been enjoyed. Especialy as the General comes from Njimegan a favourite town of mine in the 60's to spend week ends and the odd leave there. We last visited there in 2007. Even got to see some of my old haunts, but changed from what I remember. Then of course there is the Canadian Cemetary at Grossbeck. A must for any Canadian to visit when in the area. | |
