| I have had it for some 40 years, the Ex Serviceman's club I belonged to in Vancouver had Regimental, and Divisional plaques all around the walls of the canteen as well as RAF and RN. I was president at the time and found a store in Edinburgh named by coincidence Scott's who sold them. But me old mucker, that ain't 20 Brigade, I believe the background is blue, this one is 6 Armoured Division of which 20 Armd Bde was a unit. I served with W Troop, 4 Squadron (20 Armd Bde Sig Sqn), 6 Armoured Div from 1952 -54 at York Barracks (Gremmendorf Kaserne) Munster.
(by the way Gauntlet, nay lad, tis the Mailed Fist, the Brothel Knocker's or Wanking Spanner's as we were known as in those bygone halcyon days of my youth)

| All my clobber reference RC Sigs (Which incidentally is the oldest Sigs Corp in the British Commonwealth) ended up at the Sigs Museum in Kingston Ontario. Got a nice little tax write off. So it wasn't all wasted time. Though I still have my web belt with Corp buckle. a lanyard, collar dogs old and new, hat badge old and new and shoulder flashes. | |

| No Gordon I'm afraid its gone .. when Mac moved to iCloud it somehow deleted all the work I had done on 'The Life of Len', I could have spit blood. So the one now running on this site is the one that somehow survived the transition.
