Doh !
Just as I was about to launch into a tirade on this subject I was pipped by the Shelldrake !

The "bomb" could also be seen on officer's berets.
"Youbeekew" is a battle honour shared by Gunners and Sappers.

Sah !

Oh Dear ! Chastised again & wrongly again....... Ambiguous grammar, maybe, wrong interpretation perhaps..... but with two experts on my tail, maybe it's time for humility. Maybe not ! OK, maybe it should have been " ...in No1. dress collar dogs are only worn by RA ....." instead of how it was put down.

Don't think I mentioned N0.2 Dress , did I ? But both RA & RE wear bombs on lapels for No.2 Dress.

Change thoughts to No 1 Dress..... RA bombs (with no Ubique) on raised collar. . RE nothing, on collar ...dandruff maybe.

That's how it was on mine, and is on mine, for I've still got a tatty No 1 outfit somewhere around.

No arguments about beret badges, officers, for the use of.
