Good Morning.
I hope I can have some help. My great uncle was in the baor, I'm not sure if he would have been at the liberation of Belsen, if anyone could please clarify the service form, thank you for any help.

Can only help post VE Day 8 May 45, do you have earlier pages?
He was posted to the School of Artillery on 26 Sep 46 from 2 Counter Mortar Battery RA, that was under command 17 Army Group RA who were located in the Dunkirk area before moving to Brussels 23 May 45, on 1 Jun 45 the battery left the formation to HQRA 5 Infantry Division for occupational duties, attached to 18th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA, the journey can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/3e7xfmvm
The School of Artillery were located in the Luftwaffe Camp later Alanbrooke Barracks, Oerrel south-east of Munsterlager from 18 Mar 46, moving to Dennis Barracks formerly Raubkammer Barracks north of Munsterlager 1 Nov 46, disbanding 31 Dec 48.
