| Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am asking for your help in a search. Let me explain, this message will be quite long, and possibly boring, but please bear with me.
Quite a time ago an older friend of our family moved house, and asked for our assistance in moving, gladly given by us.
In the usual sort out, many items were regarded as no longer needed and were earmarked for "disposal" in one way or another. Amongst these items I found an interesting item which was rescued in the hope of re-uniting it with either its owner, a member of that family, or a member of the one of the families whose names appear inside. How this came to be in the possession of this friend, she does not know, but thinks it possibly came from her father (although he was an Artillery man, who served most of his time in Egypt and Italy)
The item is a copy of "The Sectional New Testament (Daily Portion Edition) published by the Naval And Military Bible Society. It is complete and in reasonable condition, apart from the spine separated from the main part of the book.
Inside the front cover is a message from His Majesty The King dated September 15, 1939. over the page are details of the possible owner as follows:-
Cpl B. Bracewell 432175 1.10.42 (date) Honeybourne Stratford-on-Avon
Underneath is printed "Do not insert Name of Unit or Station"
Directly inside the front cover are the following handwritten details:-
" To Betty from Taff in memory of good times and leg pulling at our Station.
2024620 A.C.W. O.M. Holland (I take A.C.W. to mean Aircraftwoman) 1409926 L.A.C. S. Morgan
The writing is in the sytle of S. Morgan's. I did try a while ago to find details of any of these people, with no success. Do any of our older members recognise the names or the area of Honeybourne.
My aim is to try again in putting this Testament back into the care of any of these names, or a member of these families. Can anybody help?

| Still no joy with the Testament unfortunately, but I would still like to get it back to the family.
I found an obituary buried up in the pages, and it is a local one (to me that is, here in Limavady). The person named is related to the person I got it from, apparently she was related to them.
So there is a possibility that it belongs around this area. We shal see - I hope.
