Thank you Hello and welcome to the Forum and BAOR Locations. A help in your search would be possible Regiments that he may have come into contact with, areas of Berlin, events, etc. The smallest snippet can help. Should your heading have read East Yorkshire Regiment rather than Brigade? The East Yorkshire Regiment are noted as being in Montgomery Barracks between 1951 and 1953. On another page in 1945 they were in Austria, amalgamating with the 2nd Bn, in Austria, in 1948. In 1951 they are part of 31 Lorried Brigade in Buxtehude, from where they moved to Berlin as part of Britiish Troops Berlin. According to this same page they moved back to the UK in late 1952. Paul.
