Subject: Jeep at Gatow - info request. 25/2/2010, 00:31
I am seeking info/history on a Jeep CJ-5, that I believe was first used at Gatow during the early to mid 70's. I bought the vehicle about 12 months ago, and I'm in the process of restoring it. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who was involved with the Jeep. I have assumed it was used for airport emergency/towing etc. It has a "7 Flight Army Air Corps" logo on the front wing, and a hand-painted Daffy Duck & Elmer Fudd picture on the tailgate.

Probably just a unit runabout!
What military model is it (as in M151 MUTT) ? as CJ-5 is a civil model No !
