One egg per week - what memories. Lived up in North Wales for about a year 1944/5 and the locals had never heard of the phrase 'one egg per week'. You could make your self sick on eggs then so I suppose the country folk and farmers did well during the war regarding rationing. They even made their own fudge etc.

My late Mum did wonders with these. Wonder how the Army Concrete Company would have dealt with these. !!
