Is everyone on leave?

Well I for one am on holiday/vacation, currently sitting in a hotel room in Prince Rupert, BC in my skivvies preparing for a 6.5 hour boat trip tomorrow for Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) .. just got in from a 16 hour boat rip up the BC Inside Passage, saw some Black bears,
Hump Back Whales, Bald Headed Eagles ETC .. Toured a old fish cannery today that used to provide canned salmon dating back to the 1850's .. that's another story of the British exploiting the local indigenous people and the migrant Chinese population, makes for interesting reading.
Off to beddy byes now, belly full of veal scallopini a la Marsalla, and Kokanee Beer ..

Hello, I'm back from days out to Sunny Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

I too am commited to family and other business but managed a 24 hour pass to visit the RAC Museum at Bovingdon and the archives
As a result have details of another 25 Regiments' movements in 1945/6 to add to Stephen and my data base which appear in some form shortly

The refurbished Museum is magnificent with what must be close tp 100 armoured vehicles of all nations and eras on display plus other attractions. Well worth a visit if you are in the area

Just got back from a day at the beach where I overdosed a bit with the Sun on my legs. Went to the local hospital where they prescribed, surprisingly, Viagra.


I asked the Doc if it would help with the sunburn, he said "No, but it will keep the sheets of your legs".
