Recently to keep myself occupied I started a Family Tree, while doing so I accessed the War Diaries of the West Yorkshire Regt to gain more information about my uncle Jim Chapman who was killed in Burma.
Talking to my cousin, his son in the UK, we started swapping photo's etc .. after I realized that after I 'pop my clogs' no one else in our family would have known Jim I decided to put a small web page together in his memory .. see it below, navigation of the 8 pages is at the very top of the page.

By all means Gordon, the more exposure the better, soon all of the boy's of the '39 - 45 war will be forgotten except by those who were impacted by it.

That's because Mac decided to upgrade all their 'customers' to a platform called iCloud, in the process all web pages should have migrated to it. Unfortunately because of some misunderstanding most of their subscribers lost their months and in my case years of work. I called Apple and was told that they had no back up of old customers web sites and that they were discontinuing hosting sites. I am now with a new FTP server, but all my old sites are gone ... one unhappy guy I can tell you.
