| Can anyone help with the following initials:
C Section, G S I (X) Hq Mt Div 70 Hq C C C BAOR
This is in connection with a Major R S Paterson who in 1946 was the owner of a Rolls-ROyce car.
Any & all suggestions would help to understand who or what he was / did.
Cheers

| Hi Sue
G S I (X) = was a Security Branch Hq Mt Div = Headquarters Military Transport Division 70 Hq C C C = should read CCG (Headquarters Control Commission Germany)
Sorry no idea where 70 HQ was there were various HQs in BAOR in the late 1940s
Best of luck with your research | |
