You mean all those nights (and days) of beer-swilling were frowned upon? If only I had known!

I used the BAOR SO to find the Transit Camps - but stragelky nowhere on the site is there reference to the Standing Orders (the Discipline Section nowadays is in A4 and has the dimensions of Book - the whole of the Orders fits in to 5 or 6 binders )

Apart from giving insight to what is generally frowned upon, time has brought even newer offences (no vapping in AD vehicles, legal and illegal highs, misusing alternate postal addresses recognised by on-line points of sale, winter tyres (not spikes) to suit cold weather conditions, and money laundering (not to!), and misuse of computer systems, misuse of BFG Fuel Card (no coupons anymore and the ARAL/Shell/BP/ TExaco garages all have CCTV)

But the SOrders also covered some of the subjects which could be FAQ on this Site:

Marking of AD Vehs, Tac Signs, Registering Births Marriages and Deaths, business with Consulates and Passport Offices, - staples that varied slightly over the years. BFG registration for aircraft, surprisingly has been available for over 40 yrs.
