He hung up when I got somewhat stroppy.

| Many years ago I registered with the Telephone Preference Service but, I still get unsolicited calls. I don't answer the 'phone now, when they ring off I dial 1471 and if I recognise the number I call back, the kids all have my Mobile Number. | |

| Only really applies to the UK Shelldrake. Foreign callers can do what the hell they like and they do. You can block numbers withheld calls but might cost you? That can be a problem in itself because when I did voluntary work at the local BBC, people used to leave us answer phone messages but as our number was always withheld we couldn't call them back if they blocked them.
Withheld, Witheld or With held? You know what I mean.

I too got myself on the MPS and the amount of junk mail I receive had reduced quite a lot. The problem is MPS does not affect what Royal Mail stuff up our orifices so there's still junk, due to them. What I do now is get a healthy pile together and cram it all in the letter box on the corner !

| I'm sure he was the NAFFI door man in Iserlohn in 64. The give away is his first medal, " The Order Of The Sugar Spoon On A Chain". Then again on second look he does have a resemblance to a fella I saw working the door in the Union Jack Club, last time I was there. | |
