| Exactly that Jim, the outline for the various shades were drawn on the veh in chalk and then spray filled. It took a bit of time, but we had four months to get the job done or should I say 37 Rhine Wksp to get the job done for us. Needless to say a few bottles were delivered to the German spray painters.

| I bet not a single person noticed apart from the knob that ordered it. Anyway the paint colours were supposed to blend into each other, not have distinctive lines. Bet he got a knighthood or similar.
I just remember bulling my 432 up using lots of paint, diesel (mixed with engine oil) and elbow grease. Never went on the parade myself but my vehicle did. | |
