John Joseph "Jacky" DUNNE, Irish Guards c1951/52

Hello, I'm trying to find any details on my cousin John Joseph Dunne, known as Jacky, who was serving with the Irish Guards in Germany when he was killed in an accident either whilst based in Hamburg or whilst on duty there for some reason. We think it was a road accident and possibly involved a motorbike. It would have been sometime around 1951/1952. He was born in Bray in Ireland in 1928.

Can anyone let me know if they know if/where the Irish Guards were based and if any records of soldiers who died whilst serving in Germany post WW2 might be found? Too much to hope for that any other Irish Guards are out there who might have known him.......

The date is shown for 1948. Not 1951-52.
Age 20. (DoB is 1928).

Cemetery: Münster Heath War Cemetery (Not far north of the town of TELGTE.)
(Not Munster as entered in many documents).

Should you wish to order a Death Cert?  Just use the same web site as if you were ordering a Cert for the UK.   You should NOT being paying more than about £12!
Whilst completing an application, you will need to include the GRO Index page reference as shown above ie. (10)(18).
