Sheldrake,

One way of bringing new YOUNG FRESH blood in is to recruit some boy soldiers - but then they have never experienced BAOR or the rest.

Yes, you could re establish the Army Apprentice Colleges and Junior Leaders Regiments, get some 'brats on board. This place could be 100% officers mess one day.!

New blood, new blood. (Any ex WRACS on here?)

Hi there,

Has there been a restructioning of forum rank. I see that I have been thrown out of the Officers Mess and am now a WO1. I don't mind one bit but the Captains outfit cost me a lot of money etc.
Never mind

Capt 200
Maj 225
Lt Col 300
Col 400
Brig 500
Maj Gen 750
Lt Gen 1000
Gen 1500
FM 2500
Chief of Staff - Reserved
Admin - Reserved

Top 10 poster with date joined are:

jim @ 1135 ... 03/01/08
brum @ 907 ... 02/03/10
Gordon @ 874 ... 28/02/08
Paul @ 817 ... 06/04/08

RE: Forum rank Structure - How come no 2/Lt or Lt? I always wanted to be a 'Rupert.' Never mind, I got accelerated promotion to WO1, do me for a while, any way, WO/Sgts mess is nicer.

I only got to A/T in the British Army, Sgt in Australian Army Reserve and a Chief Inspector (3 pips) in NSW Police, (but I had to do 35 years to get those 3 pips !) so I am doing all right.

Good site this, might I ask who kicked it off ? Embarassed
