Subject: 24 Missile Regiment, Royal Artillery D Day 6/6/2024, 11:05
My Grandfather, Arthur William Scott, was in the 24th Missile Regiment, RA in WWII. I know he was with Montgomery at various times, but I believe he was involved in D Day and I recall he was one of the first at Bergen Belsen. Does anyone have any records, please?

Morning,
24th Missile Regiment, RA in WWII. Not sure this Regiment existed at that time! I have looked through the list of Units named as arriving at Belsen. I believe there were many more who are not listed as being at Belsen.
Alan.

(24 Regt recruiting area was Berks, Bucks and Oxfordshire)
